The Missouri Department of Corrections Office of Victim Services provides the following services to victims of crime.
*Advocacy and crisis intervention throughout the correctional process, including assisting victims with concerns related to inmates and parolees.
*Information regarding the status of offenders in the custody of the department including offenders who are incarcerated and those under the supervision of the Division of Probation and Parole.
*Victim Notification
*Accompaniment of victims to parole hearings as requested by the victim.
*Referrals to other state and community services.
*Assistance in cases involving harassment or threats from an offender.
*Notification to Victims of Domestic Violence regardless of whether or not the offender was convicted of a domestic violence offense.
*Support of homicide survivors before, during and after an execution, including accompaniment of family members of the victim.
*Provides a voice for victims through the Victim Service and Restorative Justice Advisory Committee.
